Land acquisition is constituted to assist City Housing and Urban Development Department by performing land inventory and land procurement processes in order to address the housing program/need of the marginalized sector especially among the underprivileged and Informal Settler Families (ISF's). The section is responsible in land banking to acquire land at values based on existing use in advance of actual need to promote planned development and socialized housing programs. Through this initiative, the department has managed to acquire 131.5906 hetares of land to be developed by the LGU.
