Social Entrepreneurship Program
The SEP section is tasked to manage existing livelihood projects, facilitate proposed livelihood projects, provide assistance in the completion of beneficiary requirements, provide trainings, generate resources and establish linkages for sustainability purposes of the livelihood programs. These livelihood programs will then be offered to beneficiary or group of beneficiaries (e.g. homeowners associations) who met the program guidelines and qualifications. Livelihood programs will not be limited to livelihood loan grants but it will also include trainings as well as assistance to the beneficiaries who wants to develop technical skills for employment opportunities. The target accomplishment of SEP is in line with the national agenda of development and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), wherein the department is taking up the challenge to contribute in the realization in a number of SDGs (i.e. industry innovation & infrastructure, no poverty, zero hunger, good health & nutrition, clean water & sanitation, quality education, climate change, potable water & health, gender equality, descent work and economic growth) through its livelihood projects.
